Early Sex = Delinquency According To Study

A study has found that adolescents who start having sex early are more likely to engage in delinquent activity and found that those who had sex a year or more before the average age had a 20 percent increase in delinquent behaviour a year later.
The data was collected by researchers at the University of North Carolina who surveyed the participants three times between 1994 and 2002 when they were between the ages of 11 and 17.
The study also found that those early-birds were likely to engage in sketchy activity until well into adulthood *as I’m scrambling for my joint which I light with a stolen lighter*
They believe that those having sex earlier than their friends are more likely to become involved with peers who are enaging in unconventional behaviour.
Researcher Stacy Armour believes that having sex later “has a more protective effect” and could be due to reasons such as being more attached to parents or soending more time at school.
I’d be interested to see a study on the parents of these same kids…
