I am a big fan of surprising a loved or lusted one with a sex toy as a gift, but when sending one via post–use some caution!

Recently, the police and bomb squad were called to a postal outlet in Chesterfield, England after the workers reported a suspicious package making strange sounds. After all the hype and the big scare, the package turned out to contain nothing but a vibrator and some chocolate!

A police spokesperson said: “Officers had no way of knowing what was inside the package. But it gave us a giggle. They had to act on the information available and had to do what they thought was right. Thankfully, it was nothing more serious.”

So, should you decide to send your shnook-ums a sex toy as a gift through the post; make sure as your blood has rushed some place down south that you don’t forget to remove the batteries before shipping!
